“It is an honor to partner with the Boxing Hall of Fame to host such an iconic weekend that spotlights our entire region.”įight night is sure to be a raucous time. “We are excited to welcome thousands of fans along with boxing legends and media back to Central New York and to once again be the capital of the boxing world,” said Oneida Indian Nation Representative and Oneida Nation Enterprises CEO Ray Halbritter. Taken as a whole, the entire IBHOF induction weekend will be one for the books. The fights will be held in a ring in the Turning Stone Event Center, and will be televised live on SHOWTIME’s “SHOBOX: The New Generation” series.
The lineup features four fights in all, headlined by a must-see clash between 2020 Olympic Gold Medalist and two-time Olympian Bakhodir Jalolov and rising heavyweight prospect Jack Mulowayi. While on-site weekend festivities include a press conference, a gala dinner, and a full-fledged induction ceremony, boxing fans are particularly excited about the fight card for Friday night, June 10.
Boxing is back in a big way at Turning Stone Resort Casino-one of many events to commemorate the return of International Boxing Hall of Fame (IBHOF) induction festivities during the weekend of June 9-12.
